DOING A GOOD WORK FOR GOD'S KINGDOM.

Text: psalm 100: 1-5
Verse to Remember: Psalm 100: 2.' Serve the Lord with gladness'...........
When Jesus was on earth, He was busy for His father. He told the people about God and heaven, he healed the sick and cured the blind. He even raised people from the dead. He travelled to many places and showed them the love of God 'I must work while its day...john 9:4,' many of Jesus disciple like peter and Paul travelled to many places to serve the Lord.
You may wonder how to serve Jesus as a young person. You don't have to wait until you're as old as Peter and Paul to serve the Lord. You can start right now. You can help your Sunday school teacher clean the dusty chairs on Sundays, you can pick the hymn books off the floor, you can help your parents out with house chores, be kind, obey God's word, sharing your lunch with someone who doesn't have or even inviting them for Bible club or Sunday school. God promised to reward everyone who serves him gladly. So start serving Jesus today.
As little children you can do great things for God and be his special vessels unto honour. Being God's vessel unto honour means letting God use you for his special work. Many little children did great things for God in the Bible.
A young boy shared his lunch of bread and fish and Jesus blessed it and broke it and fed five thousand hungry people with it. Today, we can share with those who do not have, our toys, clothes and lunch too.
We can also be like the slave girl in Naaman's house. God used her to show Na'aman's family the place to get help (2kings 5-6).   Naaman listened to her advice and he was healed of leprosy. He went to Elisha's house and he was told what to do to be healed. Like the little girl in Naamans house we can tell others about Jesus and how He can save them from their sin and give them eternal life. We can also show others the way to Jesus by obeying his word.
Shalom
